I love the Spectacularly Sparkly Scarf. Thank you so much. I used Lion Brand Wool- Ease Constellation. I bought the yarn today and started after dinner. Matches my daughter’s grey peacoat, so another Christmas gift is done.

loving the sleeve-type scarfs. i do crochet for the homeless and low income residents of my county, and many of them are ill and are larger than just a size large. do you have these adjusted up for larger people.. say 2X-4X?

I want to make a scarf out of Hooks & thread Chrisma yarn. What size of hook should I use since the yarn is thicker? thanks so much. Joy

It depends on the pattern and how loose or tight a fabric you want. For the yarn worked as one strand probably 6.5mm-10mm. I have a pattern for a scarf using two strands of yarn held together of Charisma that uses a 16mm hook.

Thank you so much. I am making an extra long scarf in my grand-daughter’s college colors. She wanted “soft” and a Harry Potter stripe look. I was planning a sc,dc pattern.

Just found your site while searching for crocheting with large hooks. Love it. I’m going to try some of your projects. I am very intrigued.
